Motown Revue Show Set For This Weekend

The Motown Revue Show will be held this weekend, with a number of performers set to provide entertainment on both Friday and Saturday night.

A spokesperson said, “All is set for this week’s Motown Revue Show at Fairmont Southampton Hotel. The promoters are promising two very special nights. Friday night and Saturday night will see Bermuda’s own Wall Street Band performing the hits from Motown, one of the greatest eras in music.

“Following Wall Street Band will be the internationally acclaimed Legacy Motown Revue Band from North Carolina. This band consists of 12 members, many of whom have graced the stage with famous singers of the Motown era.”

“They will be performing the hits from Michael Jackson, O’Jays, Temptations, Lionel Richie, and many others.

“The lead female singer, Janice Price, will be doing covers from Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Roberta Flack, and many others. Band manager Stan is promising a memorable performance both nights.

“The event is hosted by Bootsie. DJ Donnie will be on the turntable on Friday night while Malcolm “Lethal Weapon” Smith will do the honors on Saturday night.

“Saturday night’s show is sold out and very limited seating remains for Friday night. Tickets are on sale at Pulp & Circumstance, Freshmend in Heron Bay, and online at bdatix.bm.”
