Bermuda Triathletes Compete In Costa Rica

Seven Bermuda triathletes took up the challenge and competed in the Ironman Costa Rica 70.3 event.

His time of 4:56:01 saw Geoff Smith finish 2nd in the Men’s 50-54 Age Group, he was the 57th male finisher and 60th overall.

Chris Eaton finished 7th in the Men’s 50-54 Age Group after clocking a time of 5:16:53, he was the 124th male to cross the line and 137th overall.

Louise Wells won the Female 45 – 49 Age Group and claimed a spot at the Worlds in South Africa in September, she was clocked across the line in a time of 5:25:15, she was the 17th female finisher and 185th overall.

Clifford Roberts was 24th in the Men’s 45-49 Age Group with a time of 5:32:45, he was the 217th male to cross the line and 242nd overall.

With a time of 6:18:58 saw Sergio Edness finish 106th in the men’s 30-34 Age Group, he was the 541st male finisher and 631st overall.

Wenda Roberts was clocked in a time of 6:28:12 and was 4th in the Women’s 55-59 Age Group, Roberts was the 106th female finisher and 705th overall.

Raphael Simons clocked a time of 6:49:17 on his way to finishing 75th in the Men’s 45-49 Age Group, he was the 695th male finisher and 840th overall.
