Man Arrested After Threatening Residents
A 34-year-old man was taken into custody after an incident in Hamilton parish in which he “had a bladed article and began to threaten residents.”
Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “Police responded to a report of an incident that took place on Cottage Hill Road in Hamilton Parish at 5:22pm.
“It appears that a 34-year-old man had a bladed article and began to threaten residents. Tactical units were called and surrounded the house where the man was present.
“Subsequently, police gained entry into the house and the man was taken into custody at 8:10pm without incidence.
” An investigation into the incident is now underway and police would like to apologize to the area residents for any inconvenience the situation may have caused.
