Queen’s Birthday Parade Set For This Saturday
The annual Queen’s Birthday Parade will take place on Saturday morning [June 9] at 10.30am along Front Street in Hamilton.
A Government spokesperson said, “The public is advised that the annual Queen’s Birthday Parade will take place Saturday morning [9 June] along Front Street, Hamilton.
The 2017 Queen’s Birthday Parade:
“The parade gets underway at 10:30 a.m. and as a result, the public is advised that there will be traffic restrictions in place starting early Saturday morning.
“The public is encouraged to come out and view the event which will feature the pomp and pageantry of the marching units from The Royal Bermuda Regiment, Royal Bermuda Regiment Band & Corps of Drums, Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Police Reserves, Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, Royal Bermuda Regiment Junior Leaders and the Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps.”

Other tourist destination do not sleep either.
Consiquently our visitors wonder why they they came here in the first place.
We want food on the table we have to work for it.
What if every body wanted the day off the island woud come to a stand still, esential services would shut down .
Tourism is an esential service .
All public events should be re – scheduled over the week ends to lessen the impact as Bermuda’s economic situation can not survive when our visitors come here only to find our doors closed .
