“Summer Open” Show To Open At Arts Centre

A revolving member’s show titled “Summer Open” is set to open this Sunday [June 24] from 5.30pm to 7.00pm at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard, running until Friday, September 14.

A spokesperson said, “‘Summer Open’ opens this Sunday at Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard.

“This show allows our artists to create any form of art with no subject restriction. We have had a wide variety of media submitted. Work however, has been encouraged to be submitted in smaller form to allow for easier packing.”

“It’s never too early to look for Christmas gifts, and this show offers a perfect opportunity to purchase Bermuda art.

“As pieces sell, they will be replaced, thus making this a two month revolving show. Our walls will be changing, and because work will be sold right off the walls, we suggest that one gets there early so as not to miss out.

“The show opens this Sunday [June 24] from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. The show is open until September 14. The gallery is open every day from 10.00am to 5.00pm and is wheelchair accessible, with free admission.”
