Granting permission for this development so close to the beach is a big mistake/massive blow to local and visiting beach users. These units should sit further up the hill leaving the beach area less impacted and more open.

On the environmental side of things, the turtles that just hatched for the first time in Bermuda in decades were just up the road, and now will have to contend with heavy development, run-off, more traffic etc.

Why would buy a condo you won’t move into for 3 years?

It’s the Bermuda formula. Starts out as a hotel development turns into overpriced condos. Elections have consequences.
