Football: PHC Zebras Win Charity Cup
The Bermuda Football Association’s 2018/19 season got underway at the Bernard Park with the Charity Cup taking place between the defending Premier Division Champions PHC Zebras and Robin Hood, with PHC Zebras defeating Robin Hood 2 – 1.
PHC Zebras captain Cecoy Robinson scored the opening goal of the game in the 13th minute. The score was level at 1 – 1 in the 30th minute when Robin Hood’s Tomiko Goater found the back of the net in his first outing for his club, scoring from close range.
The teams went to the break still deadlocked at 1 – 1, and a a cross from the right found Robinson unmarked and he directed a low header that beat Eve in the 85th minute for the winner.
