Photos: Minister Welcomes Students To School
This morning, Minister of Education and Workforce Development Diallo Rabain welcomed back students and parents at the start of the 2018/19 Bermuda Public Schools academic year, with the Minister visiting Elliott Primary, CedarBridge Academy, Victor Scott Primary and Warwick Preschool.
Minister Rabain was greeted at Victor Scott by newly appointed Principal, Ms. Kennelyn Smith, and the Minister also met with Warwick Preschool administrator Mrs. Jennifer DeRosa Holder and staff to thank them for working around the clock to clean and prepare the school for students arrival this morning, after the Warwick Preschool and the adjoining Department of Health Clinic building was damaged by a fire over the weekend.
Whoop tee doo! Did he get any real work done today? Did he catch a bus to school?
As a parent who heard the Minister speak today I cant attest to the inspiring and positive words that he gave the students. It is clear that you don’t like the Minister, still, there are thousands of students that still respect, and are impacted by the office. They deserve to hear from the people making decisions about their educational journey!
Which meaningful decisions would those be?
Ha! Did he touch on why there is still no Education Commissioner? Least we forget that debacle! This guy is a joker.
To Yes He Did. Whatever. Blah Blah Blah. They respect him NOW because they are YOUNG, but wait until they can fully understand THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR THEIR EDUCATION. This is just their usual BS appearances at this time. What are they really doing for OUR KIDS as far as EDUCATION is concerned????????? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AS USUAL!!!!!!!!!!
