Rotary Clubs Assist In KBB Coastal Clean Up
The Rotary Clubs of Bermuda joined forces to helps assist this year’s EY Keep Bermuda Beautiful [KBB] Coastal Clean Up.
Bermuda’s four Rotary clubs, Rotary exchange students [past and present], students [ages 11-17] from the Island’s three Rotary Interact clubs and young adults [ages 18-30] from the Rotaract Club came out in force to collect 17 bags of trash, 9 bags of recyclables and 3 abandoned bikes from Rocky Bay Park in St. Georges.
Greg Soares, Asst. District Governor for Area 7 [Bermuda] commented, “This was our fourth annual coastal clean up and we organized an even bigger Rotary team this year to lend a hand.
“It was fantastic to involve so many students and for them to experience Rotary’s ‘Service above Self and be #peopleofaction.”
