Field Hockey: Pink Robins & Mixed A Team Win

Fifteen goals in total were scored during the Bermuda Field Hockey double-header that took place at the National Sports Center.

Pink Robins 4 – Sandpipers 2

The Pink Robins jumped out to an early lead, but in the end they were forced to hold off the Sandpipers.

The Pink Robins got a Field Goal off the stick of Lexi D’Angelo in the first minute of play, and in the 10th minute Emma Ranger doubled the lead with a Field Goal.

Jennifer Chisnall extended the Pink Robins lead to 3 – 0, with a Field Goal in the 20th minute and then D’Angelo made  it 4 – 0 in the 30th minute.

In the 55th minute the Sandpipers began their fight back with a Field Goal off the stick of Dominique Brown, and five minutes later Brown scored her second Field Goal of the game, however they would not find the back of the net agaain in the final ten minutes of play.

Mixed A Team 7 – Budgies 2

The Mixed A team got a hat-trick from Lucy Bridges as they defeated the Budgies 7 – 2. Grace Edy scored twice, with James Morgan and Alivia Venning adding a goal each.

The Budgies got single strikes from Alyssa DeSilva and Samantha Davies.
