MSA Offer Bursaries To New Pupils Entering M1
Mount Saint Agnes [MSA] is hosting an information session and tour of the school this Thursday, November 15th, for prospective Middle and High School students.
Attendees will get the chance to learn more about the curriculum and bursaries available, tour the school facilities and meet the Principal and teachers.
Bursaries are available to new students who are transferring from Primary to Middle School [Grade 6] in September 2019, to “offer those who require financial assistance the chance to give their child an internationally recognised education.”
Middle School Class
Principal, Sue Moench, comments, “Our Middle School and High School Programs follow a world-class curriculum that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing students for post-secondary education and their future careers.
“The transition into Middle School is a particularly exciting time for students and they continue to focus on core subjects and add elective subjects to their schedule, as well as having access to a variety of extra-curricular activities.”
Parents are encouraged to bring their child[ren] along to the information session so that they can see the school first hand.
Mrs Moench adds, “At MSA, we promote a positive environment with a family atmosphere, so we feel that it is important for the students to come along to the session and take part in the decision making process with their parents.”
An insight into an MSA education
She continued, “MSA provides a first-class education that is reinforced by Christian values, however, one myth that should be dispelled about the school is that it is only for Catholic families.
“Our current student population is the most diverse it has ever been with 40% being from non-Catholic families. We welcome students from all backgrounds.”
The information session will take place at MSA from 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm and parents can RSVP by calling 292-4134 or emailing msaoffice@msa.bm.
