Christmas Boat Parade Traffic/Parking Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works is advising motorists of traffic and parking changes to take place on Saturday [Dec 8] from 6.00pm until 9.00pm in order to accommodate the Christmas Boat Parade.

A Government spokesperson said, “One way traffic will occur on the following roads:

• Harbour Road: Between Manse Road and Stowe Hill travelling in an easterly direction
• The Lane: Between Stowe Hill and the North Roundabout travelling in an easterly direction

“Parking will not be permitted on the following roads:

• Manse Road: Parking will not be permitted along Manse Road [either side]
• Chapel Road: Parking will not be permitted along Chapel Road [either side]
• Cavendish Road: Parking will not be permitted along Cavendish Road [either side]

“Parking will be permitted on the north side of Harbour Road between Manse Road and Lovers Lane. For questions regarding these changes, please contact Sergeant Andrew Exell at 717-0993.
