Dunkley’s & Santa’s Helpers Distribute Hampers

Dunkley’s staff and Santa’s Helpers have distributed food hampers to those in need “to ensure they enjoy a delicious meal during the holiday,” with the hampers consisting of a turkey, ham, eggs, dairy, and dry products.

“For over two decades my brother Stephen and I, with the great support of our Office Manager Alisa Woolridge, other Dunkley’s staff and Santa’s Helpers, have distributed foodstuffs to those in need to ensure they enjoy a delicious meal during the holiday,” Michael Dunkley said.

“It has been a busy few days as we have prepared the hampers consisting of a turkey, ham, eggs, dairy and dry products that Dunkley’s sells and then arranged for pick up or delivery.

“This year we are pleased and proud to have directly supported people and worked with helping organizations who do so much for our community. Amongst them the Salvation Army, Big Brothers and Sisters and PALS. We were also delighted to work with two churches in the area, Miracle Temple and Bethel AME.

“During the Christmas and New Year holidays, while we celebrate and spend time with family and friends, we must never forget those who struggle. We are blessed to live in Bermuda and we have much to be grateful for but sadly it appears now more than ever families struggle. Community support is so valuable and we are always willing to help and provide assistance where we can.
