Hamilton Underwriting Appoints Vetch As CFO

Rob Vetch head shot Jan 2019Hamilton Underwriting Limited, the managing agency of Syndicate 3334 and the Lloyd’s operations of Hamilton Insurance Group announced that Robert Vetch has joined the agency as Chief Financial Officer.

Reporting to CEO Dermot O’Donohoe, Mr. Vetch succeeds Simon Barrett who left Hamilton in December 2018 to pursue another opportunity.

Mr. Vetch comes to Hamilton Underwriting Limited from W.R. Berkley Corporation where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer, WRB Underwriting, for nine years.

Prior to that, Mr. Vetch was Finance Business Partner, Brit Global Markets. His experience also includes seven years at QBE Insurance Group Limited and four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in insurance and investment management.

Mr. Vetch is a graduate of St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, and holds a master’s degree in engineering, economics and management. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
