Upcoming: Bermuda Marathon Race Weekend
Local and international runners will hit the streets from January 18 to 20 as the 2019 Bermuda Marathon Weekend will be taking place, beginning with the Front Street Mile on Friday, January 18th starting at 7:00 pm, followed by the Bermuda 10K & 10K Walk on Saturday, January 19th at 9:00 am, Bermuda Half Marathon and 44th Bermuda Marathon on Sunday, January 20th at 8:00 am, and Bermuda Triangle Challenge from January 18th – 20th.
A spokesperson said, “Front Street Mile on Friday, January 18th – 7:00 pm. Start/Finish: Front Street, Hamilton.
“The spotlight is on you as you start your Bermuda Marathon Weekend off during ‘Happy Hour’ and the Front Street Mile. The only street races held at night in Bermuda; the Front Street Mile is sure to set the pace for the rest of your weekend.
“The Front Street Mile will see Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants share the stage as they run over the same course as the following 10 heats of invited runners. Invited runners will have competed for an invitation to race on Front Street or will have raced internationally. Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants will run in waves.
‘No need to worry’, Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants are automatically included in the Front Street Mile as it is the first race in the Bermuda Triangle Challenge “3 races in 3 days” series and is included in your entry.
