BHB Upgrading Phone System Overnight
The Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] is advising the public that they should call the mainline numbers if they experience trouble calling a department directly between 12.00am and 6.00am tomorrow [March 7] due to an upgrade to their phone system, noting that 911 services will not be affected.
A spokesperson said, “Members of the public who need call the hospitals during the BHB phone system upgrade tonight between midnight and 6am Thursday 7 March are advised to call the mainline numbers if they experience problems calling a department directly.
“The mainline numbers [KEMH: 236-2345 and MWI: 236-3770] will continue to work throughout the upgrade window. The upgrade does not include the emergency 911 number, which will continue to work as normal.”
