87-Yr-Old Man Remains In Hospital After Collision

A 87-year-old man remains in hospital following a car crash in St. George’s yesterday [April 29].

A police spokesperson said, “Around 1:40pm Monday, April 29th police and fellow first responders attended a reported single vehicle car crash on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s near the junction with Stokes Point Road.

“It appears that the car was being driven east along Mullet Bay Road when it struck a wall.

“The driver, said to be an 87-year-old St. George’s man, was hurt and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check this morning [April 30th] he remained in hospital.

“There were some traffic delays in the area until the damaged car was towed from the scene.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
