April 25: Nomination Day For Municipal Elections

Nomination Day for the Municipal Elections will be held this Thursday [April 25] at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall on King Street from 11.00am to 1.00pm for both Municipal areas.

A Government spokesperson said, “Nomination Day for Bermuda Municipal Elections will be held on Thursday, 25 April 2019, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall on King Street from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for both Municipal areas. The proportion of seats available to return for each area is as follows:

Corporation of Hamilton

• Business Ratepayers Councillors – 4 seats
• Municipal Residents Councillors – 4 seats
• Mayor – 1 seat

Corporation of St. George’s

• Business Ratepayers Councillors – 2 seats
• Municipal Residents Councillors – 6 seats
• Mayor – 1 seat
