Police Appeal For Witness To Come Forward

The investigation continues regarding the fatal collision involving a police vehicle that claimed the life of 21-year-old Antoine Seaman, and the police confirmed that CCTV footage indicates that Mr. Seaman was riding alongside another motorcyclist who the police “believe is a critical witness to the collision” and they “urgently appeal for that rider, or anyone who knows the identity of that individual, to come forward”

A police spokesperson said, “As the investigation continues regarding the fatal collision involving a police vehicle that claimed the life of 21-year-old Antoine Seaman, the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] can now confirm that detailed enquiries discovered CCTV footage which indicates that Mr. Seaman was riding alongside an, as yet unknown, motorcyclist who the BPS believe is a critical witness to the collision that took place around 1:50am Monday, April 15th on Somerset Road in Sandys parish near Wilson Place.

“We continue to urgently appeal for that rider, or anyone who knows the identity of that individual, to come forward by calling the investigating officer Sergeant Dorian Astwood on 247-1009 or 717-0849 at the earliest opportunity.”
