Bermuda Book Festival & Fair On June 8th
The Bermuda Book Festival and Book Fair will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 12pm to 5pm at the BUEI Tradewinds Auditorium in Hamilton.
In an online post, the Bermuda Book Festival said, “Come enjoy an afternoon of family fun at the Bermuda Book Festival and Book Fair! This event will help kids and adults to have a ‘love of literacy’!
“Enjoy door prizes, free books, giveaways, face painting, caricatures, and more. Author presentations for 5-8 years of age will begin at 1:00pm in the Tradewinds auditorium. Author presentations for 9-14 years of age will begin at 2:10.
“Come meet and greet Bermudian authors of some of our favorite titles including Karen Franks, Dale Butler, Sharon Wilson, and more. Their signed books will also be available for purchase.
“The event will raise funds for the The Reading Clinic – Registered Charity #126. All tickets proceeds go to their programs. Tickets can be purchased at the door – $10 for adults and $5 for kids/students.
“Doors open at 12:00pm.”
