Man Arrested In Connection With Stolen Truck
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of Dunkley’s truck, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3pm Monday, May 27th, the theft of a Dunkley & Pioneer Dairies Limited truck was reported to police.
“It appears that two staff members were making deliveries on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton when the unattended truck – which was understood to have been parked near Washington Lane – was removed.
The truck after it was located yesterday in Southampton:
“The stolen truck was later recovered by police unoccupied in the Riviera Road, Southampton area.
“A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this matter and currently remains in police custody pending further inquiries.
“Any witnesses or members of the public with any relevant information are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
