Police: 911 & 295-0011 Phone Numbers Restored
The police confirmed that “most services have been restored – including 911 and 295-0011 – after a power outage incident around 6.00am yesterday” adding that “full system restoration is anticipated by Monday, May 20th.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] can now confirm that most services have been restored – including 911 and 295-0011 – after a power outage incident around 6am Wednesday, May 15th.
“On initial inspection there does not appear to be any data loss and full system restoration is anticipated by Monday, May 20th.
“However, technicians will continue to closely monitor the BPS data centre over the coming days to ensure system stability.
“The BPS would like to sincerely thank the technical vendors and our staff for all their assistance – as well as the public, for their patience and cooperation, while the necessary repairs were made.”
