19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Released On Police Bail

The 19-year-old male motorcyclist that was arrested after riding the wrong way up Stowe Hill in Paget was released on police bail.

A police spokesperson said, “The 19-year-old male motorcyclist that was involved in a police pursuit and arrested after riding the wrong way up Stowe Hill in Paget around 12:55pm Friday, May 31st – resulting in a collision with another motorcyclist and a car – has been released on police bail pending an upcoming court appearance.

“At last check this morning [June 3rd] the other motorcyclist involved, said to be a 40-year-old Devonshire man and his female pillion passenger, said to be a 34-year-old St. George’s woman, had both been treated and discharged from hospital.

“The car driver involved, said to be a 75-year-old Pembroke man, was not hurt.

“Any witnesses are now encouraged to call Acting Sergeant Melvin Best on 717-2385.”
