33-Year-Old Man Remains Stable After Collision
A 33-year-old man injured in a collision involving two trucks on May 31st in Smiths parish remains in stable condition in the hospital.
A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [June 3rd], the 33-year-old man injured in a collision involving two trucks around 9:20am Friday, May 31st on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish, near St. James Court, remained in stable condition in the hospital.
“It now appears that the trucks were being driven in opposite directions along North Shore Road at the time.
“The 33-year-old man is understood to have been a passenger in one of the trucks and apparently sustained leg as well as shoulder injuries.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are now encouraged to call Constable Che Young on the main police telephone number 295-0011”
