Photos: Two Super-Yachts Visit St. George’s
Two super-yachts were seen in St. George’s this afternoon [June 25], including the 55-metre ‘Vida’ and the 40-metre ‘Next Chapter.’
According to yachtcharterfleet.com, “The 180.45ft steel motor yacht ‘Vida’ was built by Heesen in Netherlands, she was delivered to her owner in 2019. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Francesco Paszkowski.
“Vida’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.”
“The 130ft Westport 130 motor yacht motor yacht ‘Next Chapter’ was built by Westport in United States at their Westport, WA shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2016. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Westport.
“Next Chapter’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in 5 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard in 4 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.”

What a shame nothing was done after the AC35 to attract more of these yachts on a regular basis.
Definitely a lost opportunity!
To the contrary much was done by the combined opposition at the time to chase them away.
Maybe we should dish out another $77 Million( when money dont grow on trees) to atract some more to come.
I heard from my PLP representative that the PLP are going to bring the Miss Universe Pageant to Bermuda! That would definitely make more of them big boat owners want to come to Bermuda and party down with the contestants! We should host another Carnival with that event! All the way PLP and PLP all the way!
