Bermuda Begin Rugby Under 19 Tournament
The Rugby Americas North [RAN] U19 tournament began today in Barbados with Bermuda facing their first two games.
In the first game, they took on USA South, and while they played a strong game they ended the game down 16-5.
In their second game of the day, Bermuda took on Jamaica with three successive tries and completed conversions in the first half. The team worked well together, earning a 21-7 win.
The win put the team in 2nd place at the end of the day for their pool, leaving them to take on their final pool competitor, Barbados, at 1pm Bermuda time tomorrow. That game will determine their next competitor, and should Bermuda defeat Barbados they will face Mexico at 4pm Bermuda time in the first of the semi-final games.
