Happy Valley Child Care Centre Graduation
Eleven children finished the nursery school programme at the Happy Valley Child Care Centre, with Minister of Legal Affairs Kathy Lynn Simmons attending the graduation ceremony for the young students.
A spokesperson said, “On Friday, the Minister of Legal Affairs, the Kathy Lynn Simmons, JP attended the graduation ceremony for the young students at Happy Valley Child Care Centre [HVCCC]. Eleven children finished the nursery school programme and are now ready to start pre-school in September.
“Since 1971, HVCCC has provided full-time, cost effective, quality child care for children three months to four years of age. HVCCC is an internationally accredited child care facility that provides daily schedules planned around the HighScope curriculum and consist of group time, outdoor play, meal times, field trips, circle time, and work/choice time in classroom play areas.”
Sigh….they are not graduating but moving on to primary school due to age. Setting kids up with the falsehood of cap and gown does nothing to help them or their parents…not to mention costs. Why not have an age appropriate school leaving party with cup cakes.
