Advisory: Sub Post Office Scheduled Closures
The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is advising the public of upcoming scheduled sub post office closures due to an internal systems upgrade.
A government spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is reminding the public that it is currently undergoing an internal systems upgrade. To accommodate the upgrades the BPO’s sub post offices will close for a half day at 12 noon on the following dates outlined. Regular postal service will resume following day.
“The BPO thanks the public for their patience and apologizes for any inconvenience during this period of system implementation.
- “Mangrove Bay Post Office – closure date at 12 noon – Wednesday, Sep 4th
- “Southampton Post Office – closure date at 12 noon – Wednesday, Sep 11th
- “Crawl Post Office – closure date at 12 noon – Wednesday, Sep 18th”
What? The upgrades can’t be done on a Saturday? B/S again from a govt department.
