Two People Involved In Accidents Remain In ICU

The 17-year-old man that was seriously injured in a jet ski crash on Tuesday [Aug 6] and the 47-year-old man seriously hurt in a separate motorcycle crash on Monday [Aug 5] are still in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [August 9th] the 17-year-old local male seriously injured in a Jet Ski crash that occurred around 6pm Tuesday, August 6th in the Robinson’s Marina, Somerset Bridge area was listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still encouraged to call Constable Joshua Boden at the Marine Unit on 247-1770 as soon as possible.

Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Store Hill Crash Remains in ICU

“At last check this morning [August 9th] the 47-year-old male rider seriously hurt in a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred around 8:55pm Monday, August 5th on Store Hill in Smith’s parish was listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are still encouraged to call Constable Gregory Stienlet on the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
