Winnie Childs Celebrates Her 106th Birthday
Winifred ‘Winnie’ Childs celebrated her 106th birthday today [Aug 10] with a cake and balloons marking the event.
The Westmeath Residential and Nursing Care Home resident was joined by family members and friends, with Deputy Premier Walter Roban stopping by to offer the birthday celebrity best wishes and join in on the celebrations. Family members believe Ms. Childs may currently be Bermuda’s oldest living resident.

Mrs. Childs looks exactly the same as she did in the 60′s and 70′s when I went to MSA with her daughter, Patricia.
She is petite but only in stature. Her personality is larger than life and was especially evident in her love of driving!!!
