Bermuda Ball Hockey: Rockets & Spitfires Win
A total of 21 goals were scored in Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey playoff action at the PCC Hockey Rink in a recent double header.
Strathroy Rockets 5 – London Knights 3
The London Knights held a 2 – 1 lead at the end of the first period after getting goals off the sticks of Owen Siese and Brian White, while the Strathroy Rockets got a goal from Hart Freedman.
The Strathroy Rockets scored four times in the second period and restricted the London Knights to one goal. Adam Mattatall scored twice, while Shannon Gosse and Brandon Willett added a goal each; Ryan Wilson scored the lone goal in the period for the London Knights.
With no goals in the final period, the Strathroy Rockets picked up the 5 – 3 win over the London Knights.
Windsor Spitfires 9 – Gloucester Rangers 4
In the nightcap, the Windsor Spitfires defeated the Gloucester Rangers 9 – 4.
The Windsor Spitfires got four goals from Matt Benson, while Matt Katzsch and Chris Grantier added two goals each and Max Boivin scored once. The Gloucester Rangers got two goals from Mike Malott and then single strikes from Christopher Jackson and Bruce Sinclair.
