CedarBridge Academy Chairman On “Incidents”
“The safety of students is a top priority to the CedarBridge Academy Principal and staff”, according to CedarBridge Academy Chairman Jason Wade following “recent incidents” at the school.
Mr. Wade said, “We wish to advise the public of recent incidents at CedarBridge Academy – some of which have been the subject of social media comments.
“Meetings have been held with the parents of all students involved, and consequences for misconduct were issued where warranted. In response to the recent incidents, our security protocols have been reviewed and enhanced where necessary.
“The safety of students is a top priority to the CedarBridge Academy Principal and staff. As such, continuing partnerships with the Ministry of National Security have been established to assist with mediation and behavior modification, as part of our efforts to ensure our student’s safety.
“The Minister of Education visited the school today to discuss the incident with School Leadership, and was satisfied that we are strengthening our protocols to address and prevent such incidents in the future. There have been no further incidents since Tuesday, and it is expected that this will continue.”

I have no idea what “incidents” are being referred to, but it all sounds a it ominous.
