Photos: 2019 Gombey Festival Showcase
The 2019 Bermuda International Gombey Festival Showcase was hosted by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs last night [Oct 12] at the Botanical Gardens main show ring.
Five of Bermuda’s Gombey troupes performed throughout the night including Place’s Gombeys, Gombey Warriors, HnH Gombeys, Warwick Gombeys and Gombey Evolution. Entertainment was also provided by Rowdy Piper, Donquili, ‘Memoirs of a Dancer’, and the Bermuda Squad. MC for the night’s festivities was Ed Christopher.
