Tennis: Day Three ITF Bermuda Junior Open
The Boys moved into the Quarter-Finals and the Girls played Semi-Finals as the ITF Bermuda Junior Open Tennis Tournament continued at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
Bermuda’s Tariq Simons, the number six seed, took on the number three seed Jakub Ostajewski in the Quarter-Finals, the pair battled for over two hours in a three set battle that saw Ostajewski win 6-4, 0-6, 6-0.
The Boy’s number one seed Mark Dancuart was knocked out when Samuel Reichbach defeated him in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
The Women’s Final is set with Catherine Slowek to face Olivia Lincer, this after both won their Semi-Finals in straight sets.
