Wells Nominated For Sky Bet Player Of Month
Bermudian Nahki Wells has been short-listed for the Sky Bet League Championship Player of the Month.
The EFL website said, “The September nominations for the Sky Bet League Championship Player of the Month award are:
Nakhi Wells [Queens Park Rangers] – striker
“Has given Rangers a cutting edge in attack that has been missing at Loftus Road in recent seasons. Loving life alongside Jordan Hugill, he demonstrated his finishing ability with four goals, a pair against each of Luton and Millwall.
Tom Cairney [Fulham] – midfielder
“The Fulham captain has returned to the Championship determined to restore his reputation as a silky smooth passer of the ball with the vision to match. Oh, and his two goals included a trademark pinpoint long-range strike against Wigan.
Chey Dunkley [Wigan Athletic] – central defender
“In a goal-shy team, Dunkley’s three goals in as many games proved just as important as his commanding presence in defence. Against Charlton, they showcased his talent, too, with a well-timed volley and a towering header.
Kamil Grosicki [Hull City] – winger
“Three goals from three games. The Poland international has the talent to curl in pinpoint free-kicks against Wigan and Cardiff, as well as a fierce desire to dominate opposing defences with his direct running and trickery – see his low shot at Luton.”
Congratulations, Nahki Wells..of Bermuda soil..our ambassador for soccer in the United Kingdom!!
Do continue on. Your steadfastness is admirable!!
