Bacardi 8K Road Race & Walk On November 17
The Bacardi 8K Road Race and Walk will be held on Sunday, November 17 at Bacardi’s Pitts Bay Road location in Hamilton.
The event page says, “This will be a chip timed event & limited to 500 entries. The walk starts at 8.30am and the run starts at 9.00am. The Race Hotline is 298-1071.
Race Route
“Start at Bacardi Headquarters, right on Pitts Bay Road to Cox’s Hill Roundabout, left onto St. John’s Road towards Spanish Point turning at the bus “U” turn, turn left on North Shore Road, right to Berkeley Road. Right on St. John’s Road and left onto Pitts Bay Road to finish at Bacardi Headquarters.
Race Numbers
“Number pickup will be on Friday, November 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 at Bacardi Headquarters on Pitts Bay Road. During this time, Bacardi invites registered race participants to join us for drinks and nibbles, with advice, information and samples from the island’s top health experts.
“Late entries at number pickup on Friday at a cost of $40.

Notes
- “Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the walkers. There are no strollers permitted in the competitive run portion of the race
- “No dogs will be allowed on the premises”
