Carnival Returns To Disembark Injured Passenger
On October 31st, the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship returned to the island to disembark a passenger who had fallen and injured their spine.
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “Bermuda Radio received a call from the from the Carnival Sunshine which had departed from Bermuda earlier in the day, advising the vessel was now located 80 miles South West of Bermuda, and were returning to disembark a passenger who had fallen and possibly received a spinal injuries.
“At 11:20 pm the patient was safely transferred to the pilot/rescue boat St David and taken inshore to Ordnance Island, where the patient was subsequently transported by Ambulance to KEMH.”
