December 25, 2019

A free Christmas luncheon is being held this afternoon [Dec 25] at the Hamilton Seventh-Day Adventist Church on King Street, with volunteers coming together to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity for a nice Christmas lunch.

A spokesperson previously said, “While going without basic necessities such as food, is a serious issue throughout the year, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those families who don’t have much, single parents, the homeless and all that are in need.

“This will be the ninth consecutive year, the church will be continuing its commitment to the community…by hosting a traditional Christmas meal, for those who may not be able to afford food to eat, let alone on Christmas day.

“As in the past number of years, the event is co-sponsored by Global Atlantic Re Ltd., which the church is truly blessed, honored, appreciative, and immensely grateful for their undying support of this initiative.”
