Ferry Services Suspended On Thursday Morning

The Department of Marine and Ports Services is “advising that due to inclement weather, all ferry services will be suspended from Thursday morning, 23 January 2020, until weather conditions improve.”

The Bermuda Weather Service [BWS] has issued a Gale Warning valid for this evening through Thursday evening,” and their forecast states, “A low pressure system continues to develop mainly to our south. Gales have arrived and rain will resume later this evening and storm force gusts arrive.

“These conditions will remain through most of Thursday as the center of the low passes to our near east. Gales decrease towards dawn Friday and winds continue to decrease through Saturday. Light rain and then showers linger Friday into Saturday.”
