Govt Advisory On Ferry Service Disruptions
The Department of Marine & Ports Services provided an update on the disruption to ferry services.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Marine & Ports Services would like to advise the public that, as an update regarding today’s ferry service interruption, the Department is actively working to complete repairs on its ferry fleet. As a result, there will be service disruptions, including the cancellation of the Green Route’s 4:10 p.m. sailing. There will also be no service to Cavello Bay. The services to Green Route’s 5:20 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Rockaway and Watford Bridge sailings will operate.
“At this time, the Department anticipates that these service interruptions will continue into Wednesday morning. Updates regarding the resumption of service will be provided as soon as additional information becomes available.
“The Department apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.”
