Multiple People Injured In Separate Collisions
The police continue to seek witnesses to two separate collisions in Southampton and Devonshire which both resulted in people being transported to the hospital for treatment.
Male Rider in Hospital After Reported Single Vehicle Motorcycle Crash
A police spokesperson said, “Around 4:30am Saturday, January 11th police officers on mobile patrol were flagged down by a motorist at the junction of Middle Road and South Road in Southampton after she saw a motorcycle in the nearby bus layby on the ground with its front lights on.
“It appears that the rider, said to be a 40-year-old Sandys parish man, was traveling west along Middle Road when he struck a wooden barrier near Barnes Corner and was thrown into the surrounding bushes.
“Officers assisted the rider out of the bushes and he was then transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries.
“At last check he had been admitted and was continuing to receive medical care.

Female Rider Injured in 3 Vehicle Collision Treated & Discharged
“A 49-year-old Sandys parish woman motorcyclist has been treated and discharged from hospital after being injured in a collision involving two other cars.
“The incident occurred along South Road in Devonshire near Devon Spring Road around 4pm Friday, January 10th.
“One of the car drivers involved, said to be a 93-year-old Hamilton parish man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment while the other car driver, said to be a 31-year-old Hamilton parish man, was apparently unhurt. All three vehicles were damaged.
