Police Appeal: Help Locate 14-Year-Old [Located]
[Updated] The police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
“Apparently the teen went to school Monday morning [January 6th] but failed to return to her designated Government Care Facility as scheduled later that day.
“She is described as brown complexioned, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, of medium build with shoulder length curly hair.
“When last seen Destiny was wearing her CedarBridge Academy uniform: light blue school shirt, grey skirt, grey socks, black shoes and a maroon sweater.
“She is known to frequent locations in Pembroke including Fentons Drive, Parsons Road, St. Augustine Hill, Middletown, One Way Deepdale and The Glebe Road.
“So far efforts by police officers to locate her have been unsuccessful.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old Destiny Winters is asked to call police on 295-0011 or her designated Government Care Facility on 292-3699.”
Update 5.16pm: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
“She was found safe and well this afternoon [Tuesday, January 7th] in the Fentons Drive, Pembroke area and returned to her designated Government Care Facility.”
