Suspect Arrested After New Year’s Day Assault
A 40-year-old male suspect has been arrested and charged following the assault of a 70-year-old man in Hamilton.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service thanks members of the public who responded to our requests for information regarding the assault on New Year’s Day, of a seventy-year-old male outside the Washington Mall on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton.
“Thanks to your assistance, a forty-year-old male suspect has been arrested, charged and brought before the courts.
“Let’s continue to work together as we commit to making Bermuda safer.”
