Field Hockey: Longtails, Budgies & Dragons Win

Action in the Bermuda Field Hockey League resumed at the National Sports Center this past weekend.

Hawks 1 Longtails 3

The Longtails defeated the Hawks 3 – 1. The Hawks took the lead in the 32nd minute when Edward Ingham scored, but two minutes later the score was level when Dominique Brown scored for the Longtails, and Laurel Cardwell then scored in the 55th and 56th minutes to earn the Longtails the win.

Pink Robins 1 Budgies 2

The Budgies edged the Pink Robins 2 – 1. The Budgies took the lead in the 13th minute when Francesca Cacace scored a field goal, Lexi Di Angelo equalized for the Pink Robins in the 25th minute, the Budgies would get the winner in the 69th minute when Robin Stempel scored.

Dragons 6 Canaries 0

The Dragons picked up a 6 – 0 win over the Canaries.Tyler Smith would lead the way for the Dragons with three goals, while Charlie Lightowler added two goals and Rupert Cuddon-Large scored the other.
