MarketPlace Expands Online Ordering Service

February 19, 2020

The MarketPlace has expanded its online ordering and pick-up service to two additional stores, Modern Mart and Somerset MarketPlace, bringing the service availability total to five stores island-wide.

“Customers can shop online for thousands of quality items including fresh produce, high-quality meat and seafood, everyday supplies, plus ShopRite’s rebranded product line, Bowl and Basket and Paperbird, and pick-up from five stores across the island,” the company said.

“To enjoy online ordering and pick-up, customers can place their order via www.marketplace.bm, or through our mobile app, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store by searching ‘MarketPlace Bermuda’, choose their preferred pick-up day and time at checkout.

“Customers can pick-up from Hamilton, Heron Bay, Shelly Bay, Somerset MarketPlace, or Modern Mart on orders over $50 for a fee of $4.95. After arriving at the store, customers park in the designated pick-up spot and a personal shopper will place groceries into their car within minutes.

“Customers have access to more than 25,000 quality items in our inventory, can conveniently shop our weekly deals and are still able to enjoy five per cent off on Wednesdays. New users will have their first order pick-up fee waived. Orders can be placed at any time and pick-up is available daily; 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.”

Seth Stutzman, president of The MarketPlace, said: “The MarketPlace online ordering and pick-up service continues to be a hit with our customers, and we’re excited to introduce the service to even more of our hard-working customers across the island. It’s just another way we’re making it even easier for more customers to enjoy more time on things that matter most in life, like family.”
