Man Shot In Happy Valley Lane Area
A man in his early 20s was treated for a gunshot wound in his arm after a shooting that apparently occurred in the Happy Valley Lane area in Pembroke.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 7:00 pm on Thursday 13th February, police received several reports of gunshots being heard in the area of Middletown, Pembroke.
“A subsequent caller confirmed the incident had occurred at a residence on Happy Valley Lane in Pembroke and that a male in his early twenties sustained a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.
“The victim was taken to hospital via a private car for treatment to his injuries which were determined to be non life threatening.
“Police cordoned off the scene and maintained a presence overnight as the investigation into this confirmed firearms incident continues.
