Attempted Burglary At Churchill’s Liquors

There was an attempted burglary at Churchill’s Liquors in St. Georges on Friday night, the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “At around 11:30pm on Friday 17th April, police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at Churchill’s Liquors at #2 Queen Street St. Georges.

“A nearby resident reported being awakened by a loud bang and upon investigation, observed a male dressed in black with a black and white scarf around his mouth attempting to kick in the door to Churchill’s. The resident raised an alarm and the suspect ran off.”

    I remember when the Regiment was 600+ strong. Maybe if they had that type of manpower today, they could patrol the island. It is only a matter of time before there is a disturbance at a grocery store…
