GoMedia, SGI Sports Holding Football Contest

GoMedia and SGI Sports are holding a football skills contest, with people invited to send in videos showing off their skills, with prizes to be awarded to the winners.

The event poster says, “Multimedia production group Go Media joins with Shaun Goater and SGI Sports in inviting all football skillers to participate in the lockdown 30 second football skills contest.

“Between April 23rd and May 2nd, you are invited to send us 30-second unedited clips of your juggling skills, demonstrating your ability to control the football like a pro.

Rules:

  • “A video of you juggling, keeping the ball off the ground, floor, or any surface for a period of 30 seconds.
  • “You are not allowed to touch the ball with your hands once you start juggling the ball.
  • “You may do as many tapes as you wish, but absolutely no editing, any change of shot that indicates an edit will disqualify the applicant.

A GoMedia spokesperson said, “GoMedia and SGI Sports, run by Shaun Goater, have collaborated to devise a football skills competition during this period of Shelter In Place.

“The competition, open to all ages, will involve persons sending a 30-second video clip to the organizers, showing the participants’ ball control and juggling skills. The competition will be judged by Mr. Goater, Nahki Wells, and National Coach Kyle Lightbourne.”
