Crown & Anchor To Open For Al Fresco Dining
Starting from this Saturday [May 23], the public will be able to dine outdoors at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s Crown & Anchor restaurant.
A spokesperson said, “Diners will once again be able to dine at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s Crown & Anchor restaurant from dinner on Saturday, May 23rd.
“Diners will be able to enjoy the popular casual dining destination in the fresh air of the hotel’s courtyard, which overlooks Hamilton Harbour.
“Dishes will include favourites such as Crispy Buttermilk Cauliflower, C&A Fish Chowder, Pan Seared Red Snapper, Grilled Black Angus Rib Eye Steak and The Duchess’ Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookies.
“Best of all, guests will be able to enjoy Crown & Anchor’s stylish new veranda, completed just before the Government mandated lockdown. Those who want to enjoy some direct sunshine with their meal will be able to avail themselves of a table in the hotel’s iconic courtyard with its moongate and six-metre-tall KAWS sculpture, ‘At This Time.’
“Guests will need to wear masks to their tables, at which point they can be removed. The restaurant’s chefs and waiters have undergone training to optimise the entire experience for diners and ensure the safety of all.
“Tables will be a minimum of six feet apart from one another with a maximum number of ten diners at each table and the restaurant will be strictly adhering to the guidelines laid out by the Government of Bermuda.
“Lunch and dinner will be available by reservation only – walk-ins will not be accepted. Reservations can be made by emailing Ham.Dining@Fairmont.com or calling 298-2028.
“Additionally, those who want to stay home can enjoy a number of new takeout menus available to the public through Sargasso Sea. These include a take-home version of Marcus’ famous Brunch Revolution and a special Saturday Picnic offering as well as Sunday Roasts from Crown & Anchor in addition to an a la carte menu on the delivery service app.
“While the popular Monday Quiz Nights with Mike Bishop will not be returning just yet, fans of the popular event can take part in the free online edition by emailing BermudaMagician@hotmail.com.”
Tim Morrison, General Manager at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said, “We are thrilled to be able to welcome back the public to Crown & Anchor for al fresco dining.
“We know that many of us have greatly missed the experience of eating out and we are confident that we can offer a beautiful escape for those looking for a memorable meal out.”
