TCD Restarts Telephone Call-In Service
The Transport Control Department [TCD] advises the public that the “telephone call-in service offered just prior to reopening has restarted and is immediately available for all customers.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The public will recall that the service was originally launched to provide customers without Internet access the option of calling in to relicense their private vehicles. This call-in service proved a success and was popular with many in the community.
“In an effort to encourage physical distancing, the call-in service has been reinstituted and expanded to customers with private or commercial vehicles who wish to have them relicensed.
“The service will be available on weekdays between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
“To use the call-in service, customers must have renewed their insurance policy and passed a vehicle examination. Following this, customers are advised to call the main TCD number 292-1271 and enter either extension 2138 or 2363.
“Please note that the service is only available for credit or debit card transactions.
“Once the transaction has been completed, the collection of license certificates continue to align with the shopping day guidelines and may be collected Monday to Friday at the National Stadium Pavilion, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire, and Saturdays at the TCD North Street facility from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day.
“As a reminder, the shopping day guidelines are:
- A-F on Monday and Thursday;
- G-Q on Tuesday and Friday; and
- R-Z on Wednesday and Saturday.
“Lastly, the public is advised that on Saturday, May 16, 23, and 30, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, the TCD North Street facility will now be open to all customers for vehicle examinations, registrations, and licensing transactions.
“The Transport Control Department thanks the public for their continued cooperation and practice of social distancing to keep Bermuda safe from the spread of COVID-19.

GOODMORNING how do one pay if they don’t have a credit card or a debit card for their license
Don’t worry it won’t be a problem because nobody answers either number.
